Ronnie 2K Explains The Reason Behind Kyrie Irving's Overall Rating In NBA 2K25 After Stephen A. Smith's Criticism

When Ronnie 2k appeared on the Stephen A. Smith Show, Kyrie Irving’s rating was a question Stephen A. posed. In NBA 2k25, Irving received an overall score of 92, placing him among the 20 players with a score of 90 or higher. Smith seemed to believe the figure is a touch low, though.

Recently, Ronnie explained why they chose Jayson Tatum as their cover. However, since rookie WNBA player Caitlin Clark received a 91, Smith said Irving deserved a better ranking. He also stated that Kyrie should be ranked higher because of his exceptional on-ball abilities. Then, Ronnie 2k explained why Irving’s current rating is what it is.

Ronnie said, “I mean that guy does everything. I think that Kyrie was kind of hurt a little bit by sample size. He kind of disappeared in Boston and I think that moving over he’s kind of had a rejuvenation but like, maybe it’s still a little work in progress.”

According to Ronnie, Irving’s 2k might increase his total worth. He claims Irving may reach the mid-90s if he stays content with the Mavericks and can repeat his previous success. However, he supported his team’s choice to award Irving a 92.

Kyrie Irving’s Teammate Luka Doncic Is Also Rated Above 90 In NBA 2K25

Not every Maverick is as highly acclaimed as Kyrie Irving. Luka Doncic has an overall rating of 97. Luka is now considered the third-best player after Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic.

The only Mavs that are ranked higher than 90 are Kyrie and Luka. Their three colleagues have ratings in the low eighties. Their expected starting center, Daniel Gafford, is ranked 81st overall. The off-season addition Klay Thompson is likewise at 81. The last Dallas player ranked at 80 or above is Dereck Lively II, a second-year player.

Dallas’ starting lineup will likely include Irving, Doncic, Gafford, and Thompson, with Lively II as the team’s sixth player. With an overall rating of 79, P.J. Washington is expected to start as their last starter for the Mavs.

Dave and Malika celebrated their nuptials at the foot of the Colden Gate Bridge in San Francisco on August 24, otherwise known as “Kobe Day.” But she only posted photos to social media on Tuesday.

And there was this, from Antonio Brown…

Who Is Malika Andrews’ Husband?

Dave McMenamin isn’t as popular as Malika Andrews, but he’s been around for a while.

He joined ESPN in 2009 and mainly covers the Los Angeles Lakers. The 41-year-old played college basketball in Ireland and was a student manager at Syracuse during Carmelo Anthony’s run to the national championship in 2003.

He is also the author of the New York Times best-seller, ‘Return of the King: LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Greatest Comeback in NBA History.’ ESPN colleague Brian Windhorst co-authored the book.

Meanwhile, Andrews hosts ‘NBA Today’ and ‘NBA Countdown’ at said network.

Their mutual love for basketball influenced their wedding date, 8.24.24, a day reserved to celebrate the late Kobe Bryant.

TPS would like to congratulate the newlyweds and wish them all the best.
