LeBron James and Stephen Curry may have had a disappointing NBA season, but they quenched their thirst for victory by winning gold at the Paris Olympics. After their triumph, James’ business partner recently revealed that LeBron has set his sights on owning an NBA team once he retires.

Now, it seems Curry has a similar dream. In a recent interview with CNBC, the Golden State Warriors star expressed his desire to own an NBA team one day.

For me, that’s definitely on the table. I think I could do a pretty good job of helping sustain how great the NBA is right now and what it takes to run a championship organization,” Curry said.

However, Curry’s ambitions of team ownership won’t be realized anytime soon. He is currently under contract with the Warriors until the end of the 2026–27 season, as he recently signed a one-year, $62.6 million contract extension. Hence, Curry’s focus remains on his playing career for now.

I know I have a lot more to accomplish on the court before I move into other roles in the league,” he said.
