Eamonn Holmes is reportedly seeking comfort from a friend who he and Ruth Langsford ‘for years’.

Earlier this month, the presenter announced he was separating from his wife after 14 years together. The broadcasting duo, both 64, tied the knot back in 2010 and have supported each other throughout their careers.

Most recently, Ruth has been looking after her spouse following his recent bout of medical issues, which led to a brief hospital stint. But after nearly 15 years of marriage, the couple have decided to go their separate ways.

Now, it’s been reported that Eamonn has been “crying on the shoulder” of a longtime friend amid the shock breakup. According to sources, the pal is skincare expert Lisa Harris.

A friend of Eamonn’s told MailOnline: “Lisa has been there to support him during marriage problems in the past few years. They’ve even been out recently together.

“She’s grown close to him and been there to offer a shoulder to cry on during the past few years whilst his marriage to Ruth has fell apart.

“Lisa has been there to support him during marriage problems in the past few years. They’ve even been out recently together.

The source also claimed how Eamonn has been a regular client at Lisa’s salon for years. He is even said to have attended a management party together in 2022.

What’s more, when Eamonn and Ruth won an NTA the year before, Lisa congratulated the pair, in an Instagram post from her business page. Alongside a snap of the pair, she wrote: “Well done for winning the NTA, very well deserved, see you both soon.” Daily Star has contacted representatives for comment.

It comes after TV presenter Eamonn Holmes shared a rare photo with his lookalike daughter. During the midst of his devastating divorce to wife Ruth Langsford, the 64-year-old presenter posted a car selfie on Instagram with his 33-year-old daughter Rebecca, whom he shares with his first wife Gabrielle.

He captioned the post: “Lots of folk posting about their daughters. Not many girls in The Holmes family but I have one who I love and adore xxx.

The GB News host seems to be seeking comfort in his family following his surprising separation from Ruth, 64, which they announced last month. We reported on Sunday that the Loose Women presenter has chosen to extend her break by another week in the wake of the split.
