Jake Paul flabbergasted as he reaches 20 million subscribers on YouTube

Jake Paul was overwhelmed with emotion after reaching 20 million subscribers on YouTube.

The YouTuber left a string of thank you’s on his Twitter after reaching the massive milestone, recalling the days he used to get 40 views.

‘WE hit 20 million subscribers today wtfffff… I don’t like writing these things and am not good at celebrations but this feels so amazing to accomplish something like this [sic],’ he wrote in a note.

‘I remember in Ohio I would sit online for hours posting my videos on different sites so people would watch them… I would get excited if I got 40 views in a day.’

The star went on to detail how many people 20 million really is.

Jake wrote: ‘I just wanna to thank every person who has ever been a part of this journey… think about this… 20 million people could fill 500 football stadiums… sometimes we forget how connected we are in this day in age, and everything starts to become numbers, likes and statistics…

‘But y’all are real people who have shared so many memories, experiences, and have grown up with me and I CANNOT wait to keep entertaining, growing, and accomplishing more milestones with all of you!!! Thank you so f**king much… WOW…’

Jake began his career in September 2013 by posting videos on Vine.

By the time Vine was over, he had amassed 5.3 million followers and two billion views on the app.

And it was all uphill from there.

The coronavirus pandemic hadn’t stopped the influencer from filming videos for his 500 football stadium’s worth of fans.

The YouTube star recently took to Instagram to share what he’s been up to, revealing he’s been staying at home.
