Stephen Curry just won an Olympic gold medal in the Paris Olympics. This is Curry’s first Olympic medal after winning four NBA titles with the Golden State Warriors. Despite this achievement, former NBA stars Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are skeptical about the Warriors’ prospects for the upcoming season. On the Ticket & The Truth podcast, Paul Pierce shared his doubts about the Warriors’ potential in the upcoming season.

“Warriors ain’t going be the same. He (Curry) is going down with that ship. It’s all legacy. Everything right now for him is icing on the cake,” Pierce said.

The Warriors lost Klay Thompson this offseason after he joined the Dallas Mavericks. Garnett weighed in on how this change could impact Curry’s decision to remain with the Warriors.

“Obviously he wanna win, but if you ain’t got the personnel, you gotta be realistic. They don’t have a championship team right now,” Garnett said.

Stephen Curry Supports Kamala Harris and Urges Voter Participation

In a video message, Stephen Curry recently voiced his support for Vice President Kamala Harris. Curry shared his admiration, reflecting on his visit to the White House last year.

I got to visit Kamala with my team in the White House last year, and I can tell you one thing. I knew then, and I definitely know now, the Oval Office suits her well,” Curry said.

“So, in the words of Michelle Obama, do something. Go vote. Be active. Let’s show out in November, like never before. It’s been an honor for me to represent our country. It’s an honor to support Kamala. Let’s all do our part, and God bless,” he added.

Curry’s endorsement follows that of his Golden State Warriors coach, Steve Kerr. Kerr recently expressed his support for Harris at the Democratic National Convention.

And there was this, from Antonio Brown…

Who Is Malika Andrews’ Husband?

Dave McMenamin isn’t as popular as Malika Andrews, but he’s been around for a while.

He joined ESPN in 2009 and mainly covers the Los Angeles Lakers. The 41-year-old played college basketball in Ireland and was a student manager at Syracuse during Carmelo Anthony’s run to the national championship in 2003.

He is also the author of the New York Times best-seller, ‘Return of the King: LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Greatest Comeback in NBA History.’ ESPN colleague Brian Windhorst co-authored the book.

Meanwhile, Andrews hosts ‘NBA Today’ and ‘NBA Countdown’ at said network.

Their mutual love for basketball influenced their wedding date, 8.24.24, a day reserved to celebrate the late Kobe Bryant.

TPS would like to congratulate the newlyweds and wish them all the best.
