Now that One Piece has entered its final saga, a number of peripheral characters are finally making moves. Saint Jaygarcia Saturn is one of the Five Elders – a group of older men who were believed to be the highest authority of the World Government. Saturn revealed his Devil Fruit form during the conflict on Egghead Island, and it appears to be one of the strongest Devil Fruit powers in One Piece. That being said, there are still some characters who could beat it.
When Saturn transforms, he becomes a large spider-like creature with horns and six legs. It appears as though he ate a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, and it apparently allows him to heal stab wounds within seconds. He also seems to use some type of telekinesis. The heads of weaker individuals will explode if they look at him while his telekinesis is active.
10Trafalgar D. Water Law
Trafalgar D. Water Law is part of the “Worst Generation,” and he now has a bounty of 3 billion berries. He can use Observation and Armament Haki, but it seems as though he cannot use Conqueror’s Haki. The lack of Conqueror’s Haki should put him at a disadvantage when facing Saint Saturn, but his Devil Fruit should give him an edge.
Thanks to the Op-Op Fruit, Law can manipulate the fabric of space within a designated spherical area. As a result, he can force objects to swap places. Law can use his power to place Saturn just over the sea so he can fall in and lose his Devil Fruit powers. This swapping happens almost instantaneously, so Saturn may not have time to negate it with Haki.
9Kaido
Kaido is known as the world’s strongest creature, and he wished to go to war with the World Government. Kaido consolidated his power in Wano, and his presence is the main reason why the World Government left Wano alone for two decades.
He ate a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit which allows him to transform into a massive azure dragon. While in this form, Kaido can destroy an entire mountain with a single attack. When he is in his hybrid form, Kaido can use his advanced Armament and Conqueror’s Haki. Even if Saturn infuses his Devil Fruit limbs with Haki, he should not be able to pierce Kaido’s near-indestructible body.
8Shanks
Shanks inspired Luffy to become a pirate, and he is currently the longest reigning Yonko – which means that he is one of the strongest characters in One Piece. During the Levely, Saint Saturn and the other elders agreed to meet with Shanks, and neither party seemed scared of the other.
Even Shanks may not be able to fight all the elders at once, but he can probably take on Saturn and his Devil Fruit in a one-on-one fight. Thanks to his advanced Observation Haki, Shanks can see into future to avoid attacks. If Saturn has similar Haki, Shanks can nullify it with his advanced Conqueror’s Haki. He can use that same Haki to cut straight through Saturn’s oni-like body.
7Enel
Enel is the self-proclaimed God who served as the main villain of the Skypiea Arc. He ate the Rumble-Rumble Fruit – a Logia which gives him the power to create and transform into lightning. Like other Logia users, most non-Haki attacks will simply phase through his body. He can also move as fast as lightning.
Under normal circumstances, Saint Saturn’s power should be able to counter a Logia user, but Enel’s power is said to be invincible. If Enel uses his ship to amplify his electrical output, his lightning will be strong enough to destroy an entire island. If he were to destroy an island that Saturn was on, the elder would fall into the sea and his Devil Fruit would be nullified.
6Rocks D. Xebec
Rocks D. Xebec was the captain of the Rocks Pirates – which included legendary names like Whitebeard, Big, Mom, Kaido, and Shiki. He wanted to become the king of the entire world, and he had no problem killing Celestial Dragons.
No one knows the full extent of Rocks’ power, but it took the combined strength of Gol D. Roger and Vice Admiral Garp – who were both in their prime at the time – to defeat him at God Valley. This would imply that Rocks possessed advanced and potent Haki. Saturn and other Nobles were in God Valley when Rocks attacked the island, which means that he either ran away from Rocks or lost to him.
5Gol D. Roger
Gol D. Roger became the Pirate King after he reached the end of the Grand Line with his crew. He did not have a Devil Fruit power, but he was still the strongest pirate of his era because of his extremely powerful Haki. He was also a highly skilled swordsman who wielded a cutlass named Ace. This sword is recognized as one of the 12 Supreme Grade Blades.
Even when he was sick, Roger was able to go toe-to-toe with prime Whitebeard for three straight days. Roger was able to withstand Whitebeard’s advanced Conqueror’s Haki, and the force of his Tremor-Tremor Fruit. If Roger was healthy and in his prime, he could probably defeat any Devil Fruit user.
4Edward Newgate
Edward Newgate, otherwise known as Whitebeard, was considered “The Strongest Man in the World.” He could use all three types of Haki, and he was capable of using their advanced applications. He lost a lot of his strength because of illness and old age, but he was still capable of destroying the world.
Thanks to the Tremor-Tremor Fruit, he could create powerful quakes through any medium. He could annihilate an island or create a killer tsunami with ease. Whitebeard could focus his Devil Fruit’s power into his fists or weapon to deliver devastating blows. If he was in his prime, Whitebeard could combine this power with Haki to break Saint Saturn’s bones
3Monkey D. Luffy
Luffy is now capable of using advanced forms of Haki, and he has awakened his Devil Fruit. His Gear 5 transformation is his awakened state, and while Luffy is in this form, his body becomes flexible to the point that he can fight with complete freedom. He can also interact with his surroundings and other people as though they were also made of rubber.
Luffy’s Haki should at least be on par with Saturn’s, which means that he should be able to turn the elder’s hybrid body into an inflatable punching bag. If Luffy uses the punch that he finished Kaido off with, he may end up squishing Saturn like a bug.
2Imu
One Piece fans believed that the Five Elders were the highest ranking members of the World Government for two decades, but it has since been revealed that they answer to someone too. That person’s name is Imu, and they sit on the Empty Throne as the World Government’s supreme leader.
So far, no one knows what Imu looks like, but it appears as though they possess a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit that can consume fire. It also seems to give them an arrowhead-shaped tentacle. Considering Imu’s position, he must be stronger than the Five Elders combined, which means that they can easily take care of Saturn.
1Marshall D. Teach
Marshall D. Teach is a conniving villan, and he is the only known person with two Devil Fruit Powers. He stole Whitebeard’s Tremor-Tremor Fruit, which means that he can cause cataclysmic damage. The Dark-Dark Fruit is his original power, and it allows him to create and manipulate darkness.
Unlike other Logia users, Teach’s body is not intangible. This means that Saturn can hit him and deal maximum damage. What makes the Dark-Dark Fruit so scary is the fact that it can nullify other Devil Fruit powers. If Teach makes physical contact with Saturn’s hybrid body, the elder will revert to normal.
