Ryan Seacrest Surprises ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contestants With Joke About His Love Life

Ryan Seacrest seems to be getting more comfortable in his position as host of Wheel of Fortune.
The new host, who took over after Pat Sajak retired in June, seems to be coming more out of his shell after fans called him “robotic.” He surprised contestants on the Monday, December 9 episode by making an unexpected joke about his love life.
Seacrest, 49, was speaking with contestant Sunita Baru during the Disney Secret Santa Holiday Giveaway Week, who explained that she celebrates big milestones in her relationship — like her honeymoon and 10-year wedding anniversary — at Disneyland.
The American Idol host then playfully called out contestant Ken Natanel for finding the comment about his love life, or perhaps lack thereof, a bit too funny. “Ken, you laughed too hard at that, actually,” Seacrest said. Ken took the callout graciously, joking that it applied to himself, too. He threw up his hands, admitting, “I’ve been engaged for five years, so if it ever happens for me, too!”
Seacrest’s most recent relationship was with model Aubrey Paige, 27, whom he dated from 2021 until April 2024. At the time, a source close to the couple confirmed the split to People.

“After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways. They plan to stay in each other’s lives as good friends and support one another’s endeavors,” the source shared.
The game show host briefly dated models Renée Hall and Hilary Cruz in 2015, before reconnecting with Shayna Taylor in 2016. He and Taylor, 32, had an on-again, off-again relationship for eight years before officially splitting in 2020.
The TV personality’s most widely publicized relationship was probably with Dancing with the Stars co-host Julianne Hough. He dated the professional dancer, 36, from 2010 until 2013.
